Ok, I dont know what is wrong with me. For the past week at least I have been battling headaches all day long. At first I thought it was a "caffiene withdrawl" (trying to cut back on my d.p.) But it wasnt cuz I started drinking again and I still had them. Then they would come first thing in the morning, literally the second I would wake up and they would be off and on ALL day long. Last night was the WORST of it. It was a migrane. It was my first migrane and I NEVER want to have another. It was the worst. It started as soon as I woke up yesterday and kept getting worse as the day went on. Then after I put the boys in bed last night I was sooo sick. (i had been feeling a little naseuous all day,) but it then hit me like a ton of bricks. Head pounding soooo hard I couldnt even think straight. So I layed down in my bed, crying, it hurt so bad. Then I get that feeling in my stomach. I went and threw up. I felt better after that, still had my headache though, then about 5 minutes later I had the same feeling again, but this time I couldn't get myself to climb out of bed again. (Dont worry, I didnt throw up in bed or anything) I was asleep by 930 and woke at 8 this morning.
I dont know why I've been getting these headaches. I currently do not have one, but am starting to feel like I am getting one. Does anyone know what could be going on with me? My sis n law Mia is worried about me. Kelly- what would Raul say to this? Headaches for 1-2 weeks strait, starting 1st thing in the morning, lasting all day. It's crazy.

I wouldnt wish a migraine on anyone. They are the worst! I have probably had 5 in my whole life and unless you have ever had one you have now idea how bad they are. Everytime I get one, my vision goes weird and I feel like I am floating. Craziest feeling. Only once did I get nausea with it but that was een worse. The best thing to do with one of those is crawl in a dark hole and sleep it off. I also get headaches if my back is messed up. If I go get adjusted that always helps. So if you have any back pain I would suggest that. (I actually go where your mom works and they are great) Let us know what happens. Good luck
Hi Carlie - I'm so sorry to hear about your pain. I have had cluster headaches, similar to migraines but concentrated behind my left eye. I get them if I don't get enough sleep, stare at the computer too long, am overly stressed or have eaten too much bad food. But mostly if I don't sleep enough.
MOST IMPORTANT take something the second you even suspect it coming on, even if you are not sure. Tylenol is ok, but IB Profen works best for me since its an anti-inflammatory.
2nd - if these continue or get worse yes see your doctor. He may want to run tests and find nothing but its better to know.
3rd. If they are migraines your doc can give you an rx but they knock you out cold so make sure you call Mia to come watch the boys. You will be out for a while. A very dark room with a cool or hot cloth over your face can help.
OK - I hope this helps. It could have something to do with the caffeine, docs are still slightly unsure about the whole cause of migraines.
Sorry again about the pain - I hope you feel better soon and it was a one time thing. :)
Headaches are the worst...especially like those! First, are you prego? That could definitely cause those lovely little stretches of misery. Next, my family suffers a ton from migraines Good luck. Not fun!
