Coltin's 1st day of School

So, today was/is Coltin's very 1st day of pre-school. He is at a location that is strictly pre-k, and tuition free (for us). We arrived early so that we could meet his teachers, "teacher Barbie and teacher Karla" they are both very nice. I was very surprised at how well my Coltin did. He wasn't too scared or shy. And when they introduced themselves to Coltin, he shook their hands and answered their questions. ( He is usually super shy and intimidated around people he's never been around before) Teacher Barbie took his picture and gave him a name tag and then took a "family pic" (Just in case, sometimes children miss their 'mommies' and need to see a pic of them)plus, he eats lunch at school and when Teacher Barbie told him it was circle time, he gave me a hug and kiss and then walked right over to the circle and sat down with all the other kids in his class too (I think there is only like 15-20 students in his whole class) When I got home I was going through all the info the his teacher had given me and noticed a release form for me to sign. He is already going to go on his first field trip. Next Friday his class (plus the morning class) are taking a field trip to the "Hall of Flame FireFighters Museum" how cool is that? He will have so much fun. Here are some pics I took of him this morning. He has been wearing his "Handy Manny" Backpack since we got it. ( Well I cant seem to get the pics to download right now, but I'll keep trying and post them soon)

I am glad to hear that you were able to find a preschool for him. I am sure he will have so much fun and learn a lot.

That is so awesome! I am sure you are thrilled. You will have to give me parenting advice so my kids turn out that well adjusted :)

Haley loves preschool. Her class size is smaller. I think like 10-15 kids.
