Uncle Cory

Well, folks, Alas the time has come for my baby brother Cory to Return with Honor. He served in the Brazil Campinas mission. He served for two years and he returned home yesterday. What a fun day. It was so awesome to see him. And it was great to see my boys(esp) go up to him and give him a great big hug. Coltin kept saying that he was going to give Cory a bug hug when he got home and Conner said that he is not scary he is nice. :) So he gave him a big hug too. They were as excited as we were to have him come home. As the day went on yesterday it almost seemed as though he never left. Everything picked up where it was left off. He only had 1 new neice and 1 new nephew born while he was gone. It was kinda wierd(in a good way) we were sittin on the couch and Cory and Chris (my brother) and Bryce (cory's best friend since birth) and they were having a discussion about past prophets and what not and Cory and Bryce were quoting scriptures and going in depth about everything. It was nice hearing them talk like that. The boys (along with all the other nieces and nephews) are so glad he is home and had a blast playing with Uncle Cory again. Welcome Home Uncle Cory- we love you and missed you so much.
Well, It seems like my family and I are constantly sick. I was really hoping that I would not get sick, and I dont seem to be, too bad anyway. Coltin and Conner got sick at the same time (which I guess can be considered a good thing, that it wasnt one and then the other) and Bo was also sick at the same time the boys were. All 3 of the boys are still a little under the weather and Im just starting to get it. Im drinking tons of oj. and trying to rest the best I can, all the while having Coltin home sick from school and Conner too.
I took the boys to the dr yesterday and Coltin has a sinus infection with my fabulous cough that goes along quite nicely with it. (sense the sarcasm?) And Conner has a sinus infection too, along with pink eye and drainage from his right ear. I got a total of 4 prescriptions. Sheesh. The last time I took Conner to the dr he had said that the tube in his left ear had become dislodged and would need to be removed. So while we were at the dr,he had the nurse come in and flush the tube out. It was not a pleasant experience. Conner screamed and cried almost the entire time. Man, the stinkin tube is soooo micronic. But, i still need to take Conner in to the ENT on the 24th (yes, christmas eve) and talk with him about what needs to happen next with Conner. Either, keep the tube out and stitch up the incision, or have another tube put in. Seriously? He has already been under anestisia(sp?) 2x . And either way- he is going to have to be put under again. Not all the way, but more of in Twilight. ya know? Plus, I think he has some hearing loss in one if not both of his ears. So we will have to wait and see what happens with that.
Thats all folks.

Yay...welcome home Cory! That's so exciting. That feeling's still fresh in my mind from seeing my brothers come home recently. So fun! Sorry to hear about the ear drama. What a pain. I feel bad for the little guy! :(

Holy cow...Cory is home? I agree that it is nice to hear little brothers quote scriptures and be so spiritual. Ryan always hated going to seminary, now he writes deep gospel letters. You have to post pictures of Cory!
