so I havent been in the bloggin mood lately. Ive not been in the mood to do anything. Tomorrow is Coltins last day of school. he will be in1st grade. I cannot believe it. he has accomplished so much this school year. we will be doing the "summer movie fun" again this year. for those of you who dont know what that is, it's a thingy put on by Harkins Theaters where they play 10 movies during the summer 1 movie a week. Some of the movies are already out on dvd and what not, they are all tailored towards children. you pick a day and time and you go once a week. it's $7/person. So for me and my 2 boys it was $21 to see 10 movies. its a great deal. the kids love it. we will also be spending a lot of time at the splash parks and waterparks here. they are our fav. i was thinking of getting Coltin in the "summer reading program" put on by the library. he loves to read. so we'll do that along with go to museums and whatnot. for those family and friends who do not live here, i know its deathly hot here in the summer but there is an awesome little waterpark here that is super inexpensive. So if you decide you need to get away for a few days come down here and we'll have some serious fun at the waterparks.
Oh ya, both boys are going to be starting swim lessons again this year. i recently found out that an awesome lady in my ward teaches swim lessons and has for 18 years now. how did i not know about her earlier? i would have had coltin go to her when he was 3. sheesh. well the good thing is he is going. not much else to blog about right now.
Oh ya i almost forgot, Coltin had to have his 2 bottom teeth pulled on Monday. we went to the dentist in April and they noticed that his 2 bottom teeth were starting to get loose. we were very thrilled. they somewhat got progressivly looser, but wouldnt come out, then we noticed that his 2 new permanent teeth were growing in behind his baby teeth. and they were seriously more than half way in, and hadnt lost the baby ones yet. So I called the dentist and they got him and pulled them. Coltin was a trooper. Didnt even flinch. Basically didnt even know what was going on. they numbed him then pulled them out just like that. he did awesome. he really wanted "gold" money from the tooth fairy. I had been to the bank a while back and needed some change and the teller asked if she could do the last few $$ in "gold" $1 coins. I was thrilled. Bo told me that the tooth fairy needed to give him $5.I dont ever remember getting that much when I lost teeth. so he got $5 in gold coins.

Those gold coins are such a cute idea! As for summer, it's officially here. My boys had their last day of school today. I'm excited! I'm sick of schedules and homework and early bedtimes. I'm ready to just do whatever. :)

That movie thing sounds fun. We use to do that when we were kids. I wish they did something like that here. Have fun!

I need to find out more about that library reading time thingy. Do the kids have to actually be able to read?
