hmmmm...

My sis n law Mia has been buggin me to update this darn thing. I dont have any new pics or anything and not too much has happened since my last post. But we'll see what I can come up with.
Right now I am eating a can of "beanie weenies" and "cool ranch doritos" for lunch. its not as bad as it sounds. I didnt feel like making anything or going to get food, cuz the past few weeks we have eaten out almost every meal of every day. Its been pretty sad.
I had a 1st trimester ultrasound done yesterday and it was to take measurements and test for downs syndrome and some other form of mental retardation. But the baby was about 4mm longer than what the tech could test, so they could not accuratley do the test. But I was able to see my sweet bundle of joy and both the tech and her supervisor said they are guessing that it is a 93-95% chance that it is a girl. We are excited about that. I mean, we would be excited for a boy too, but we dont have a baby girl yet. I think Bo may be more excited than me. If that is at all possible. They were also saying that the baby is measuring a little larger than what my est due date is. About 6 days ahead. But they wont change my due date. Coltin and Conner arent too thrilled to be having a sister. They wouldnt even look at the ultrasound pictures. They said they only want to look if its a baby brother. Still puts me due mid(ish) January.
A few weeks ago I took the Young Women in our ward up to Bo's family's cabin up in Heber. They loved it. We went up to Snowflake and did baptisms for the dead up in the Snowflake Temple and played in showlow, lakeside and taylor too. The girls are very outgoing energetic. But they are a blast to be around. There is NEVER a dull moment with them.
Ive FINALLY started on the sewing portion of my quilt that I am making for my bedroom. Back in March or April when my Aunt Sally was here, she helped me cut it out and left me all alone to do the rest. Ive finally started on it and I think it will look awesome when its done. I will take pics of that.
My brother Chris and his wife Lauren FINALLY had their 3rd baby (girl) last week. They named her Penny Elizabeth Black. She was 7lbs 6 oz. 8 days LATE. Lauren is amazing. She did it all natural at home in a birthing tub. AMAZING!! She has a full head of black hair (just like the other 2 girls did) I will finally get to see her tonight, when i bring them dinner.
I had been battling a horrible toothache for a few weeks and I finally called the dentist and he took an xray and found out I needed a root canal done. They wanted way too much $$$ for it, so I bought some cheap-o generic dental savings plan thingy and i went to them and they too did an xray and said i need a root canal. They were about $500 less expensive than the 1st place I went to. I called around to different "endodontists" offices around the valley and asked them for cash paying how much would it cost and they were just as bad as the 1st place I went to. So I finally had my root canal done on Monday and everything went perfect. I really liked this guy I went to. I just need to get a crown but that will come later when I can afford it. sheesh.
Im going to try this out. Wake up about 6 or 630 every or every other morning and get some housework done. I never can accomplish anything during the day and then when I get the opportunity to, its jsut way to hot to do anything. Seriously. So this morning I got up at 630, I folded 3 loads of laundry and put 2 loads in the washer adn dryer. Cleaned up the kitchen, swept and mopped the kitchen floor and vacumned the living room, plus ate breakfast, all before 830. I felt so accomplished and when i got back from my hair appt this morning, my house was clean and i felt happy that i didnt have to clean later. Im thinking this might be an every OTHER day deal. The only downside is that by noon Im ready for a nap. So it's a long day after that, but I feel good about what I was able to accomplish.
OK, Mia Jo, how was that?
