Happy Birfday Conner Man

Today my BABY turns 4. Holy cow. How the heck did that happen? Although he has now promised me that he is not going to get any older or bigger, and he will stay 4 forever. ;) I remember like it was yesterday. Had a dr appt that morning and she wasnt going to check me and I asked her to. So she did and she said I was at a 4 and 100% ephaced. ( i had already been dialated to a 4 and 75 % ephaced a month prior to this day) and she had asked me if I had any plans for the weekend. i told her no, she said, good, cuz your guna have the baby this weekend. She stripped my membranes and when i got home I started contracting. they were harsh and irregular, but I tried to keep myself preoccupied as much as possible. As the day went on they got stronger and closer. I decided that I would get in a warm bath to try and ease the pain a bit. Yeah right, that made it worse. So I quickly got out adn got dressed, and told Bo that we needed to leave immediately. We dropped Coltin off at my parents house and headed for the hospital. When we got there at 430, they said they didnt have any rooms available and for me to wait in the waiting room. But she wanted me to get checked in first. As Im sitting there, getting checked in, one of the nurses comes in and looks at me( and the immense pain look on my face) and says, " Im guna go with my gut on this one, and we'll put you in the "emergency only" delivery room. Phew. they checked me first to make sure i was dialating enough. ( I was at a 6-7 at this point) so they get me hooked up and i was like "get me a friggin epidural right now"but they couldnt get me one, cuz I didnt have enought IV fluid in me, so they put a blood pressure thingy on the IV to make it go faster.Once I had all the fluid in me, I was dialated to a 9.5. I didnt care, I wanted that epidural, they kept tellin me that it wasnt going to work, i didnt care. I got the epidural and as soon as the anesthieologist(sp?) walked out, i felt like i needed to go ( you know....) so they tried paging my dr, (apparently she was on her way to the hospital) the on call doc was in another deivery and so one of my nurses delivered conner. It was crazy. He was born at 530 pm (remember i got there at 430) it went by sooo fast.

Conner is the sweetest boy in the whole world, who seriously could never even hurt a fly. He is so loving and caring and considerate. he is my best friend and I am his. He always has a smile on his face and jsut the cutest lil buns ever!!! I cant believe that he is already 4 years old. He is so excited to be a big brother, just like coltin is to him. he is going to be such a great big brother. He will love her so much and help me so much with her.

Im so thankful that Heavenly Father has given me such a wonderful lil man to raise. He is my baby boy and always will be.

(PS shortly after Conner was born my mom tells me that my cousin Keri had her baby girl that same day too. just a few hours later) awesome. so Happy Birthday Lily.
