So, for the past 10 days the boys and I have been battling the usual cold that we ALWAYS seem to get. Coltin is pretty much back to being healthy. I have a sore throat and cough, but Conner ALWAYS seems to get the worst of it. He's got the green nose, cough, poss. strep. etc etc etc. Sat I was getting the boys ready to go somewhere and noticed that Conner had crustees by his ears. I thought, well maybe he just was trying to wipe the snot from his face and he got it by his ears. (it was somewhat dark in the room i was in so i couldnt tell) Then I went to wipe his face off and noticed that he has YET AGAIN green puss Ooooozing out of one of his ears and dry crusty blood coming out of the other. Oh my heavens to Betsy. (it was a Sat. so i didnt call the dr.) So I called and went in this morning. Yup, MORE Friggin Ear Infections. And quite poss. Strep throat as well. What the Heck? Arent the tubes that we opted for back in FEBRUARY SuPpOsEd to PrEvEnT ear infections? Thats what I thought too. So the last time Conner had an ear infection I asked him why does he keep getting these all the time even with the tubes placed in? And he said, "Well, in very rare cases, the child may be allergic to the tubes and you'd need to have them removed and have TITANIUM ones put in." Are you serious? He is on his 4th set of ear infections since February. He told me that Conner needs to be seen yet again by the ENT. (ear, nose and throat) dr. He gave me the name of a different guy. (theres no way Im guna go back to the guy who did Conners before. ) So Conner has an appt on Friday morning to have his ears checked and evaluated AGAIN. This is getting BEYOND ridiculous. He's been through a lot, poor little guy. He's had no joke AT LEAST 13 ear infections in 22 months. (Starting at 3 months of age) What the crap?!
Please keep Conner in your prayers so that we can get this under control and hopefully not have to deal with all this anymore.
It just brakes my heart that he'll prob have to "go under" again. I cant bear it. It tears me apart.
Sorry this is so long. I was just aggrivated at the whole thing and needed to vent about it.

Geez, I am so sorry. People hate when I say this, but Dylan is 4yrs. and Cash is 10 months and neither of them has EVER had an ear infection. (knock on wood) Poor little Conner.
Poor little man... and poor you! It breaks my heart every time Aeryn gets sick, and I feel completely helpless because I want to fix it... Too bad the doctors aren't doing so good either.....
Oh my goodness!! You've got to be kidding me! That is ridiculous! I would be so frustrated too! I hope he feels better soon.
Bloggs are perfect for venting! Ear infections are the worst-my kids have had them as well-poor little cruz has one right now so I understand! I hope he starts feeling better and those doctors figure it out for the both of you. Its hard being the mommy trying to make them feel better when YOU CAN"T! Last time Cotter had an ear infection he kept grabbing my hand putting it on his ear and saying,"Mommy please". It was killing me. Good Luck!
