Fun day @ the Zoo!!
I know what you are thinking. "Why in the world would you go to the Zoo, when it's 105 degrees outside?" I'm not going to lie to you. It was hot, very hot. BUT the zoo has lots of shade and mini bamboo forests and misters everywhere. It wasn't horrible. We brought with us a gallon of frozen water, gatorade, lunches, spray bottles, healthy snackies too. Honestly, we didnt stay very long. I think we were there for about an hour and a half. This was a last minute spur of the moment little trip we took today. I asked Coltin what he wanted to do today and he said that he wanted to go to the Zoo. Here are some of the pics that I took while we were there.
Here are the boys sitting on the big komodo dragon bench thingamabobber
They were very interested in watching the duckies that were in the pond next to where we ate lunch,
This squirrel wanted to join us for lunch.
Here is a very pretty little waterfall. Conner did NOT want to leave. He threw a huge fit when I picked him up after a few minutes of him telling me NO.
Isnt this the cutest little orangatane(sp?)
Look closely. There is a huge orangutaine underneath the palm tree branch. I thought it was so cute/funny. He was holding this branch to shade himself.
Look at how this girraffe is standing.
Peek-a-boo

Coltins face is priceless.
I took this as soon as I could. They both had their faces covering the holes where the water pops up. Needless to say that is got Coltin right underneath the left eye.
These last two are obviously not from the Zoo, but How in the world did Conner think to pit a straw up his nose? Seriously?
I absolutley LOVE their faces. this is Conner and Ryder(Cadie's little one who is 30 days younger than Conner)(this was taken at Cadie's house) Yes, that is Ryders broken arm- he broke it under my supervision. (I fo sho got the "aunt of the year" award. Ryder no longer has the cast on. They are soooo cute together.

Looks like SO much fun!
Way to brave the heat and hit up the zoo!! Looks like your boys had a blast!
I just have to tell you how dang cute your boys are!
Looks like lots of fun! On that paint stain try WD40. The queen of clean recommends that stuff on almost everything. I was just using it the other day to clean my stairs and they look brand new now. Its worth a try.
Your boys are so cute!! Great pics!
