Then a few hours later our next door neibors (here in mesa) arrived, and we helped them unload while all the kiddos went outside to play in the snow. They absolutley loved it. We then got dinner ready and right when we were about to say the prayer to eat dinner, our other neibors called to say that they were only a few min away and needed further directions. So Bo went to pick them up.
Bedtime first night--- We put Coltin and Conner on the top bunk of the bunk bed in their room. And then we kissed them goodnight and went out to the family room, started visiting with eachother when all of a sudden Conner walks out of mine and Bo's room. WHAT!? ya, he climbed down the ladder, walked through the bathroom into mine and Bo's room and decided that he wasnt tired yet. (it's a jack -n-jill bedroom where the bathroom seperates the two rooms-actually joins them) so I put Conner back down on the top bunk next to Coltin and told him that if he got down again then he would have to sleep in the play pen. I go out of the room and 2 min later- Yup, Conner got out AGAIN!!! So I put him in the playpen, he didnt like that very much. But he didnt listen.
ALL the kids ( there were 7) got up waaay too early on Saturday. We all ate breakfast then everyone but Sara and Hattie went and got suited up for some fun in the snow. We all headed to Forest Lakes to go sledding and snowman making, but there were no good hills in Forest Lakes, so we drove a little farther and went into Young. We found a very steep awesome hill ( i wish I'd gotten pics of the hill) Bo had coltin with him and they went sledding a ton and I was basically in charge of Conner and Julia and Nelly. It was fun, we made snow angels, and when i got up my food sank down about 18 inches or so. It was up to my knee.
We went back to the cabin and got some lunch and had nap time. We sang Christmas songs/hymns to help settle the kiddos down for bed.

We got up Sunday morning and had breakfast, some of the others went to church, and some stayed and cleaned. then we ate lunch and came home.
It was a fun time and hope to do it again real soon. (If Bo can get off work again.)

Here are the pics of the trip and also what I made. The boys needed some real stockings that they could keep forever and I was at Hatties(my next door neibor) and she had these really cute stockings. So she came over and helped Sara and I make stockings for the families. I could only get Coltin's done that day and just finished Conner's tonight. They turned out really cute(since it being my first stockings ever made)
The boys- as soon as I got my camera out today they wanted me to take their pic.

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. That's fun to go on trips with friends. And we don't have to live in it forever...it's usually only a couple of months. :)
