I have been off and on with the whole potty training stuff. Conner is so much more difficult to train than Coltin was. (Coltin basically potty trained himself when he was about 2) But Conner is another story. He will go(not always willingly)when I ask /tell him to. But if I dont ask/tell him to, he wont go. He'll just pee in his underwear or pullup. He absolutley REFUSES to go #2 on the toilet. Plus he likes to sit on the floor and go #2. I can always tell when he is just sitting and when he is going #2. So I thought I would try a different approach. Yesterday I got back from picking up Coltin from school and Conner had pooped so I changed his diaper( he was in a diaper cuz right before we picked up coltin he was taking a nap) so I changed his diaper and seriously not even 5 minutes later, he pooped again. What the crap?!(literally) So I wiped him down and let him be naked from the waist down. he did not like it at all. I figured with nothing on, he would surley go in the potty. uh, no. he kept asking me if he could get a diaper or underwear. As I was folding laundry he was going to hysterics cuz I wouldnt put anything on him, he starts to pee. So I run him into the bathroom, all the while he is still peeing on the floor. (After I just mopped). Then a little while later I am in the kitchen doing the dishes and I see him sitting on the floor. I told him he better not be pooping on my floor and he better get his buns into the bathroom and on the toilet. So as soon as he gets up I notice, sure enough, he pooped and wet a little on the floor. (I guess I can be grateful that it was the wood floor and not the carpet). argh. I thought for sure with nothing on that he would go in the toilet. But I was wrong.
Also, last week Cadie was kind enough and volunteered to watch my boys for most of the day for me. (thanks) well, the very next day before 10 AM Conner had pooped 4 x, then another 2x shortly after that. He'll poop all day long when he has a diaper or underwear on, but if you catch him about to go poop and take him to the bathroom, he will not go, he refuses to go. Last Sunday, I caught himright before he was about to go and made him sit on the toilet, and told him if he didnt go, then he couldn't go to Nana and Papa's house. He still didnt go, I put the little potty in the family room with Bo and told him to call me when Conner went. I think it was about 45 minutes later I got the call from Bo that Conner had went. He likes to hold it instead of going on the toilet.
Does anyone have any suggestions/tips on how I can help Conner to go on the toilet (without being asked/told to)?
My camera is still dead. So I dont have any new pics to show.

i read on someone elses blog that they would give the child a cold bath or shower after he went poop in his diaper and after that he stopped with diapers
We've done the cold shower thing as well, but what it really comes down to (at least in my opinion) is that they just have to decide to WANT to do it in the toilet. If they don't want to, it's not going to happen. They'll fight you forever on it. I say ignore it until he makes the decision to do it. Good luck!
I use to bribe Chasie. It worked wonderfully. I would tell her that if she pooped on the toilet that I would take her to the store and let her pick out what ever toy she wanted (the dollar store of course). And you have to follow through with it. If she pooped on the toilet we would immediately go to the dollar store. I only did that about 3 or 4 times, then I would just give her a sucker or something every time she pooed for like a week. After that she was totally trained.
Yikes, how frusterating! I've only had to potty train one kid so far, so I'm not really an expert yet, but with Dylan it was easy. The whole no diaper and going naked thing was all it took. That's what got him potty trained. I guess that's a different story with you though! I am not looking foward to potty training Cash. Not fun!
The cold shower worked like a charm for us! It only took once. Good luck!
i would say back off and don't potty train right now. i have only potty trained one child so far, but i am all for waiting until they are begging to go potty on the toilet. it seems to work faster and better that way!
I tried potty training Austin and Steven when they were 2 1/2. Bad. Bad. Bad. I drove myself crazy then gave up. A week before their 3rd birthday they started asking to go on the potty before baths and stuff. So I tried again. So much better! And that time it worked!
Today I started with Ella... The #1 is going good. The #2 was in her panties. We'll see how it goes from here...
