whats been going on???...

Ok, I have not posted forever it seems like. My camera is dead. And I just havent the energy to chrage it. So here is a little of what has been goin on with us.
I am on Facebook now, so any of you who are on there let me know so I can add you as a friend. Im still trying to figure it all out.
Coltin had "Freckle Farm Petting Zoo" come and visit his school last week and the day before I had told him that the petting zoo was coming to his school. He was really excited to get to see Bunny Rabbits. Heres how the conversation went down...
me- Coltin, did you know that tomorrow the petting zoo is coming to your school?
coltin- ya, and my teacher says theres going to be bunny rabbits there.
me- I bet there will be.
coltin- Im going to hold them and then bring one of them home.
me- uh, coltin you cant bring them home, they dont belong to us.
coltin- i know, but i can just take care of it.
me- well, where would you put him?
coltin- i know! On the my shelf in my closet!
me- Bud, you can't put a bunny on the shelf in your closet
coltin- well it'll be fine mom, i promise.
me- coltin... animals are a lot of hard work. You have to feed them and give them water and they go pee and poop, and then you have to clean it up.
coltin- well, i'll just put him on the toilet, so i dont have to clean it up.

silly little guy.
Coltin also stole a lotto ticket from the gas station.
We had gone into the gas station to buy a gas can(so I can put gas in the lawn mower- yes, i do the yardwork) and while I was paying for it coltin was wandering around the store and just as soon as we walked out he shouts, "haha! look what I got!"
I probably came down on him a little too hard, but I was so shocked that he did that. I made him take it back in and tell the cashier that he was sorry for taking it. So he did and then he just bawled and bawled. I then had a very nice, calm talk to him about stealing.
Coltin also had to be grounded and have his mouth washed out with soap this week.
I dont remember why he had to be grounded, but yesterday we were leaving the store and he kept saying something along the lines of "pee pee poo poo wada wada boo poop." (I dont remember exactly) I had told him to stop saying that SEVERAL times and he wouldnt listen, so i told him if he said it again, he was going to get his mouth washed out with soap. He didnt say it until we got home. He immediately looked at me and started crying and screaming really bad. I felt really bad and didnt REALLY want to do it, but knew that if i gave in to his crying and screaming, then he would think that anytime he cried and screamed that bad, that i would always give in and not follow thru. So I did it. and then had a discussion with him about following directions and how when I tell him he's going to have to pay the consequence , i mean it.

I was able to get out on Saturday with Myna Jo and Amy- thanks girls. it was so fun. we went to dinner then Amy went home- to drop off the baby and then she wasnt feeling well, so she just stayed home. mia and I went to see Mall Cop. It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo...















LAME!!!! Oh my gosh, I wanted to leave like 10 minutes into it. They showed the funniest scenes in the previews and they werent even as funny as the previews made it out to be. But it was still nice to get out.
Not much else has been going on.
Also- Ihave been successfully OFF of Dr. Pepper for 6 days now. I ALMOST caved yesterday. I was really tired and was dragging so when we got home from the store I went into the fridge to grab me one, BUT they were ALL gone. bo had taken them all to work with him. For that I was grateful, but angry at the same time. So i settled for a powerade zero. I really miss the d. p. I feel alone and like a piece of me is missing. seriously. Im going to go without as long as I can. but i might go back to just having 1 a day. I think that if i stay completely off , then my belly bulge will go away. thats what Im hoping for anyway.
