M I A

Wow. I cannot believe how long it has been since I was last on here. I was looking through everyone else's blogs last night and realized that I have missed so much. I guess i've been a little MIA for a few weeks. I hope i can remember what has happened. Well just over 3 weeks ago I had lasik done on my eyes. I was extremly nervous about it. But in the end, I realized that I made myself a lot more nervous than I should have. The Dr. was AMAZING! If anyone is considering getting lasik done, I HIGHLY recommend it, and if allowable, go to LASIK PLUS. They were awesome. Plus, I get FREE enhancements for LIFE if my vision ever falls below the 20/15 category that Im in now. They did have to give me a valume to help calm me down. But by the time it had kicked in we were on our way home and Bo said I looked like a zombie- just staring off in to no mans land. lol. I love it and wish I would have done it years ago.
Lets see what else??? I made a wedding cake for a friend of mine. And it turned out awesome. I definatley did not charge what I should have. I barely broke even, but I guess thats what you get when it's your first wedding cake and just want the opportunity to do it. Everyone loved it.
Ive taken up watching my neighbors little boy M-F from 1130 -1. So that she can go help serve lunch in the caffeteria at her childrens school. she lives next door to me and he baby is 99.9% of the time sleeping so she jsut brings the monitor over and I just listen for him. It's nice, but at the same time a little frustrating that I cannot leave(since he's sleeping) so Ive been getting "cabin fever" a lot.
I guess my bishop had decided that a 4 month break with no calling in the ward was long enough. I just got called to be the assistant Laurel advisor. I totally LOVE this calling. The girls in my ward are so incredible. We played Dodgeball the other night for mutual. I came back so sore and all sweaty. We are going to take an overnighter up to our cabin sometime this summer. The girls are so excited. We are going to plan it so that we can do baptisms in the Snowflake Temple. Im really excited about this calling and hope to have it for a long time.
I dont know what else to write about. Oh ya. Ive recently been taught how to make fabric and ribbon bows/broaches. They are sooo cute and are so easy to make. Once i got a hold of it I was able to do one in 30 min. Im going to look through my camera and see if I have any pictures to post on here. We got new computers so i still have to figure out how to do everything all over again. so I think that is it for now.
i cant seem to figure out how to get these pics uploaded. i will try again LATER
